I don't know if this is a recent change but it seemed to work better before. I have 2 windows for iTerm2 and VSCode (for example).
When I'm in iTerm2 and press option-`, it selects the second window and then activates it. When I do it again, the order of the windows hasn't changed and it still selected the second window, which is the one that has focus.
I would expect that it set the current selection to the instance of the window that has focis initially, and then switch to the next one in the list. Otherwise, I now need to check visually which window is being targeted, making the shortcut much slower.
